Reclaim your Position

Millipedes again this morning! I asked the LORD, “Why?” I was led to a couple interesting facts.

What is the milipede’s job? I am glad you asked. Millipedes are essential for soil health: by releasing processed organic matter at the hind end, they act as decomposers and help return nutrients back into soil.

How long do millipedes live? Millipedes live 7-10 years doing the task that our Abba has assigned them to do here on earth, but if taken away from their assignment and put in a home or business, a millipede will only live 2-4 weeks. That is a huge difference.

As I keep inquiring of the LORD, He said, “Many of My people are not walking out their Kingdom position. Many are in positions of their own choosing and will not receive ALL that I have for them. Many are in positions because of money, title, prestige, fear, and apathy. Many will not live the abundant life I have for them due to them not being in the places I have called them.”

I left teaching in a formal classroom in 2011. The LORD told me I was to leave and I argued with Him for a solid month. At that moment, my husband was unemployed and was having a hard time finding a position. Our savings were drained, and God told me through MANY confirmations to put in my resignation. My argument to Him, was I was the only one bringing in money at the time. However, one morning after another confirmation, I walked into my Headmaster’s office and resigned. I was scared and also felt freedom at the same time. There is more to the story which I will save for another day.

I saw this banner at a church I visited when my Pastor was preaching one Sunday night. I could not get my camera out fast enough.

Friends, it is time to Reclaim our Kingdom position. We all have a place that our Abba has for us! Our Pastor has told us over and over that there are 5000 promises for us in God’s Word. They are for right here and right now. Some of those promises have to do with Position. Our Kingdom position as son and daughter of the King of all kings and LORD of all lords. Our Kingdom position of knowing who we are and WHOSE we are. Ask Him today, ” What do you have for me specifically, Abba?”
